Get No More Ago working

A replacement needs a recognized relative label and a trustworthy timestamp. These checks resolve the common cases and help you prepare a useful report when a website changes.

Troubleshooting

A relative date did not change
  1. Open the popup and confirm No More Ago is active.
  2. Check the current site. In “Selected sites only”, add it to Allowed sites. In “All supported sites”, remove it from Excluded sites.
  3. Confirm the visible label is relative. Existing absolute dates, clock-only values, unknown labels, and missing labels stay unchanged.
  4. Reload the page. Restricted browser pages cannot run extension content scripts.
The displayed date looks wrong

Open Settings and check the selected date format and time zone. A source with a calendar date but no time stays on that same day; changing the time zone does not shift it. Include the expected and observed result in a report.

A supported website stopped working

Website integrations are best-effort because sites can change their markup. Reload once, test a public example if possible, then report the exact page type and visible label. A site name alone is usually not enough to reproduce the problem.

Bluesky dates do not resolve

Bluesky support needs access to its public AppView API. Confirm processing is enabled for bsky.app and that your browser or network is not blocking public.api.bsky.app. No More Ago leaves the original label unchanged when identity, response, or timestamp validation fails.

A useful report

Share evidence, not private data

Use a public example when possible. Never post private pages, messages, tokens, account details, or a diagnostic archive you have not reviewed.

Safe steps, page type, visible label, expected date, and observed result.
Diagnostics
Optional: enable logging, reproduce once, download the journal, inspect it, and attach it only if useful. Turning logging off deletes stored logs.
